This policy explains what information Surfce ("we", "us") collects through getsurfce.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website. Our client portal is covered by the agreement we sign with each client.
What we collect
- What you give us in a form. When you request a discovery call, book a demo, or apply to be a podcast guest, we collect your name, email address, and business name, along with which form you used and the page you sent it from.
- What you send us by email. If you email us, we keep that conversation.
- Basic technical data. When you submit a form, we briefly use your IP address to block spam. It is held in memory for about 10 minutes and is not stored. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies on this website.
How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule a call or recording, and send a confirmation email.
- To deliver the services you ask us for.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Services we rely on
A few providers handle data on our behalf, only to run this website:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and processes form submissions.
- Resend delivers the emails sent from our forms.
- YouTube (Google) serves podcast thumbnails. The video player loads only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
- Google Fonts serves one of the typefaces on this site.
When your browser loads content from these providers, they may receive your IP address under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to talk with you or work together, and for any records the law requires us to keep. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Because we do not track visitors, there is nothing to opt out of for "Do Not Track" signals.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS, and access to the information you send us is limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
